Voldt's Volkswagen Charging Cables
Among all the major European car manufacturers, Volkswagen was one of the first to commit fully to a zero-emissions future. Even though most people think that it resulted from the embarrassing Dieselgate scandal, the truth is that even before 2015, Volkswagen had produced two electric models that showed significant potential. The first was the 2014 Volkswagen E-up, an electric version of their smallest model, and the second was the e-Golf, a zero-emission variant of their best-selling C-segment car. However, the Dieselgate just sped things up and sharply changed the engineering course, emphasizing the need for electric vehicles. As a result, today, Volkswagen has one of the broadest ranges of EVs in the world. We at Voldt are very excited by Volkswagen's massive push for a more sustainable future and develop charging cable solutions for all Volkswagen electric and PHEV models.
Volkswagen's Models
Volkswagen's EV range might have started with modest versions of their smallest models, but now, it consists of several very competent EV and PHEV cars. The acclaimed ID series cars (ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, and ID.7) are accompanied by electric van. The ID3/4/5 are family crossover sedans with good range, innovative features, and technology, while the ID7 is an electric sedan designed for longer trips. The coolest part of the ID range is ID Buzz, an electric van with design elements from Volkswagen's classic T1 van but with the latest 21st-century technology and modern amenities. Also, Volkswagen offers PHEV versions of its popular models like Tiguan, Touareg, or Arteon. It even has a performance PHEV in its lineup in the form of the exciting Golf GTE. However, this is not where Volkswagen's electric ambition ends since the German manufacturer has a deal with Ford to co-develop platforms and models in the future and has several cars in its pipeline. Of course, Voldt offers a charging cable for every electrified Volkswagen made and will expand our offer when new models become available.
Charging Cable Technologies For Your Volkswagen
Volkswagen's EV models are based on MEB architecture, which stands for innovative chassis and battery technology. All ID cars use lithium-ion batteries with capacity ranging from 55 to 82 kWh. The ID models offer rapid charging, and in the case of ID.4, it can be up to 125 kW. The vehicles are equipped with an optional 11 kW converter, meaning you can use a Type 2 charger to charge it at home or in a public place. We also offer a wide range of Volkswagen charging cable solutions for various standardized household power outlets. Shuko and Commando sockets are available.

Voldt's charging cables are crafted in Europe using top-notch Italian materials, making them tougher and more reliable than other options. This ensures a smooth and efficient charging experience every time. The cables feature fine copper wiring, making them more flexible and resistant to right-angled bends. The plug casing is a single-piece, IP65-rated unit, making it more durable and waterproof than plugs from multiple parts.
